A formal analysis of repetition, Out of Many, One, utilizes one simple shape in a modular way to create a seating surface. Inspired by the
popular attributes of children’s building blocks, the piece is made up of three small stools that allow the user to rearrange the piece at will.
Thus, the maker’s process is mirrored in the user’s actions.
