Made up of reclaimed palette wood left over from the Partly Sunny project, the Re Cabinet presented itself as an opportunity to build on an engaging idea and create ‘well-rounded’ design. Conceptually, the piece focuses on the promotion of sustainable practices that are also visually appealing. An object should not just be praised for its one outstanding quality. Hence, the insistence of using discarded slabs of wood to create a beautiful piece of furniture.
